Lesson 7: Shape Tweening
Concepts: shape change through tweening
Start a new file. Draw a circle on frame 1. Insert a blank keyframe into frame 30.
Draw a rectangle in this frame. Change the fill color, stroke color and line style of the rectangle.
On the timeline, click on any frame except 1 or 30 (between the two you created). In the Properties Manager at the bottom click on shape tween. You will see that the timeline will turn green. If there is an arrow you were successful.
Shape Projects:
- Design an animation of flower opening up. Be careful. If your flower doesn’t open up smoothly, experiment with the order in that you drew the parts. Name it flower.
- Using the letters of your name, design a shape tween
where each letter becomes a geometric shape and then returns to the
letter. Hint use break apart. Use type letters not drawn letters.
