Lesson 4:  Moving Jointed Figure


Concepts:  rotation/scaling tool, rotational (pivot) point, copy/paste in place.

 

Your assignment is to draw a naturally moving, articulated figure.  It can be a stick figure drawn with lines or ovals.

Minimum technical requirements: You will need 5 layers.  One for each arm, one for each leg and one for the torso and head.  If you wish you can add a 6th layer for the background.  You must have a minimum of 4 frames in each layer.  Label your layers

Create a new Flash document.

Continue working on all the layers, frame by frame, creating your animation.

Save the project as “figure”.

  • Layers – 5 used, labeled, order
  • Frames
  • Pivot point
  • Rotation tool
  • Saving

Quality:

Figure creative and has a realistic sense of movement.
